- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★This place is amazing! The history, the dedication of the people, Eileen Thompson gave my husband and myself a tour and it was fantastic, she has so much history in the town and she clearly loves what she does. Beautiful place and so much history of how this country began and the way people lived and innovated and the trials they went through. I can't wait to take my step children I just know they will love it! Thank you so much Eileen Thompson for the heart felt tour and the connection to such an important historical time period. - ★ ★ ★ ★ ★Terror Train for October is the best fundraiser anyone could have thought of. Way better than the show at the big nickel. Those kids actually scared us ! Great job!By Dan Dewhurst, September 24, 2016
- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★Growing up in Capreol, not once did I pay much attention to the old antique trains in 'downtown' Capreol. Sure--I saw them--but I was never curious, nor did I inspect them in detail. Fast-forward thirty years: I've got a little boy now. And if there's one place he definitely loves, it's this place. Thomas & Friends is all the rage now, and Capreol has caught on to this. You can even buy these insanely priced toys in their shop at competitive prices. There's a quaint play area in the old fashioned waiting room, and just outside, a tour of the old coach cars, and an out-door miniature train set. This past year, though, they added a hidden gem under the fire hall: a vast, miniature train set, painted to exquisite detail. This set is every boy's dream: an entire world put on pause while the trains make their way around the copper loops of dreams. If your kid loves trains, this is an inexpensive day in the heart of quaint ol' Capreol.By Eric Malette, August 16, 2016
